Slinky Studio Crochet

I collect vintage yarn from thrift stores, estate sales, and wherever I can get my hands on it. I store it, and pair them together with new yarn to create one-of-a-kind garments, housewares and accessories. With durability in mind, almost everything is machine-washable unless otherwise noted.

My orders are usually open for commission work. I take on projects that inspire me, as each item can take weeks or even months to create. You can find me at the occasional market, online (here) and on instagram.

Slinky Studio’s Story:

I’ve been an artist since I was a child. I’ve always been obsessed with colour, ever since I learned their names. Now, I carry this passion through my work. A graphic designer by trade, I picked up crochet during Covid and loved the opportunity the craft presented: working with colour and texture in a totally new way. I love drafting patterns for projects big and small, and slowly working away at projects that will be loved for decades.
